Colin Booth plays harpsichord works - [SBCD-224]
$16.98

Colin Booth plays the two-manual harpsichord he built in 2016 as based on the design of an instrument from 1661 that, though French in origin, bears much in common with surviving German harpsichords. It is strung in brass and has three sets of strings (one at octave pitch), with a buff stop. Pitch a = 415, Young temperament (modified for the E Major suite). The booklet includes notes on the music and some easily accessible sources for those who wish to play the music.
