Clyde Holloway Plays the Fisk-Rosales Organ at Rice University - [OAR-590] $15.98

The 84-rank Fisk pipe organ at Rice University, Houston, Texas, is built in the French Romantic style but also incorporates stops to make the instrument highly eclectic so as to render works in all styles and periods. Created at the behest and direction of legendary Rice organ professor Clyde Holloway (now deceased and succeeded by Ken Cowan) who managed to have two great organbuilders collaborate on making the organ -- the firms of Fisk and Manuel Rosales -- Holloway plays works for which his interpretations are well known, captured in super sound!
