C., using the pipe organ built there in 1988 by Karl Wilhelm of Mount-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec. Neswick is a former Director of Music at the St. Albans School for Boys. As well, he was the Assistant Organist and Organist-Choirmaster for the Girl Choirsters at Washington National Cathedral, and the National Cathedral School for Girls, Washington, D. C. Neswick is an associate professor of organ at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and previously was director of music at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City. He was formerly the organist and choirmaster of St. Philip's Cathedral in Atlanta for many years. These appointments followed tenures as organist and choirmaster at Christ Church Cathedral in Lexington, Ky.; Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Geneva, Switzerland; and St. Paul's Cathedral in Buffalo, N.Y.

Cheryl Gobbetti Hoffman was a member of the music faculty at the University at Buffalo and a former member of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.

The CD takes its name, Miracles, from the five-movement composition for flute and organ by Daniel Pinkham (born 1923, Massachusetts), each movement describing a Biblical miracle. Gerald Near (born 1945, American) published the Suite in Classic Style for flute and organ with three movements in 1996. Two works for flute and organ by Jehan Alain (1911-1940), the great French composer for organ who was killed at age 29 as a soldier in WWII, are included: Aria and Trois mouvements. Another Frenchman, Jacques Berthier (1923-1994), composed liturgical music almost exclusively, including six Liturgical Meditations for flute and organ that are set for Christmas and the period leading up to it, Advent. Frank Martin (1890-1974, Switzerland) composed in many genres, including a distinctive Sonata da chiesa for flute and organ. Henk Badings (1907-1987, The Netherlands) composed tightly crafted works in all genres, with Dialogues for flute and organ marking a unification of thematic ideas and harmonic repetition.
