Toccatissimo! Famous Organ Toccatas at the Regensburg Cathedral - [ACD-1073] $16.98

At St. Peter’s Cathedral in Regensburg, Austria, on the world’s largest and heaviest organ suspended from steel cables, cathedral organist Franz Josef Stoiber plays organ toccatas to display the organ’s 80 stops and well over 100 ranks of 5,871 pipes. Weighing more than 37 tons, the organ was built in 2009 by the Austrian firm, Rieger. What a satisfyingly full sound this organ makes as superbly well recorded in the long acoustic of this cathedral!
