John Scott Whiteley plays all six of J. S. Bach's Trio Sonatas, BWV 525-530, each of three movements, on the 26-rank organ built in North German style by J. W. Walker of England under the supervision of Andrew Pennells for the home of Michael Phipps who donated it in 2009 to a new concert hall which is named for him at the University of Huddersfield, England. The booklet includes an extensive essay on the music and organs known to Bach, the organ stoplist, and a chart of all registrations used by John Scott Whiteley for the recording.
